Akira Toriyama’s Newest Dragon Ball Characters Revealed! All Name & Details!

No hay comentarios. :

Hey guys! How’s it going on? Yes, Dragon Ball Super may have ended its TV show, but that doesn’t mean the franchise is wasting away. In a few months, Toei Animation will share its first Dragon Ball Super film, and its video game collection will grow over the year. Akira Toriyama may not be so involved in all of these projects but he is there.

So, if you want to see the artist’s newest Dragon Ball characters, then here you go! We finally got some new updates and it’s the original character designs by Akira Toriyama himself for Dragon Ball Legends! Dragon Ball Legends, not only added a brand new Saiyan to the series which may be canon but also a

mysterious new swordsman as well. When the scans of this new swordsman went live, twitter went crazy for a little while. As the setting for DB Legends is set just after the Tournament of Power with warriors from different timeline / times. Thanks to some newly released information, fans now know a little more about this.

Before getting into that, I think you should at least read the summary / description of the game first. This setting might be canon and may be used in the anime later on, so – “With the chaos of the Tournament of Power behind them, life went on for the inhabitants of Universe 7. But their peace was short – lived…

Fighters from across the ages were soon drawn together for a timeline-splicing battle royale! Goku fought his way past one fierce foe after another, until a mysterious figure appeared before him…. A saiyan boy, dressed like none he had ever seen before…” Yup, Saiyan from a different time… Well, isn’t this interesting?
he new swordsman, introduced in the first trailer for the upcoming Dragon Ball Legends, is named Zahha. According to Shueisha’s official character description for the character, Zahha is a “magic swordsman who was sent here by space-time confusion. Despite his icy demeanor, he steps in to aide our hero.”
He’ll be voiced by Ryotaro Okiayu. Zahha’s design is great as well as this swordsman seems to be able to fight while a floating sword stands at his side. The series has not had such a swordsman in the past, and with a design from series creator Akira Toriyama, Zahha seems to be an intriguing addition to the franchise.

The game revealed descriptions for two other characters as well such as the mysterious new Saiyan Shallot, who has forgotten memories of his past, and a mysterious “Hooded Man” who “seems” to resemble the new Saiyan Shallot. That hooded man is definitely Shallot just from another time line or something.

According to V-Jump, Shallot was created by Toriyama along with Zahha and an unnamed character known as Hood Man. The magazine revealed images of the trio, and fans are already theorizing what the gang could be up to. The final story could be Shallot & Zahha vs Villain Shallot (Hooded Man). What do you guys think?

HONDA TEAMS UP WITH NARUTO, GOKU FOR NEW COMMERCIAL

No hay comentarios. :

If you are in the market for a new car and happen to love anime, you may want to give Honda a cursory glance. Sure, you shouldn’t buy a vehicle based on your otaku leanings, but the manufacturer is showing its anime stripes these days. After all, a new commercial for the company does go out of its way to combined one of its cars with Son Goko and Naruto Uzumaki.
As you can see above, Honda teamed up with Weekly Shonen Jump to promote one of its standard cars. The company wanted to promote its Fit model by using some rather fit shonen heroes, and you would be crazy to call Gon Freecs anything but fit.
Seriously, the kid may be a young teen, but he has abs that would make Vegeta feel a tad envious.
The special commercial is being aired in Japan right now as Honda digs in for new sales. The partnership also highlights an anniversary for Weekly Shonen Jump as the title turns 50 this year. Published by Shueisha, Weekly Shonen Jump is recognized as one of the most popular manga anthologies to date, and it is responsible for birthing some truly iconic series.
No, really — if there is a popular manga out there, Weekly Shonen Jump probably published it. The magazine has pushed forward everything from Naruto to One Piece and Bleach. Naruto, Gintama, Hunter x Hunter, and more are also part of its family.

You may think this car advert is strange, but this is not the first time a manufacturer has used anime to boost sales. In the past, Toyota got in on the anime game with a whacky Japanese commercial for the Prius. The ad turned each part of the Prius into adorable anime girls, and there were a lot of them. Ford has also dabbled with anime as the company famously did commercial overdubs for several cars with Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball.
So, which car do you think Goku would drive? What about Killua? Let me know in the comments or hit me up on Twitter @MeganPetersCB to talk all things comics, k-pop, and anime!

New 'Dragon Ball' Fan-Art Gives Kale, Caulifla One Insane Makeover

No hay comentarios. :

Kale and Caulifla are still incredibly popular despite Dragon Ball Super no longer being on the air, and it's because the two managed to leave quite the impression on fans when they debut and ran amok during the Tournament of Power.
Their good impression was enhanced by their character designs and coolness factor, which has never been celebrated better than with this slick fan-art giving the two a serious makeover.
This Kale, Caulifla, and Kefla piece is done by artist Kanchiyo. They have shared plenty of other strong Dragon Ball Super images onto their DeviantArt page (that you can find at the link here) that include more Kale and Caulifla, and interpretations of Super Saiyan 2 Kefla, Perfect Cell, Golden Freeza, Android 17, Goku Black Rose, and Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Evolution Vegeta.
Kale and Caulifla were some of the biggest additions to the series in the Universal Survival arc, and the hilarious thing was, they weren't even previously planned to join the Tournament of Power in the first place. The studio wanted a character that referenced Broly and created Kale, and series creator Akira Toriyama created Caulifla as someone who would be by her side.
Regardless of why they were included, their final fused battle against Ultra Instinct Goku was one of the biggest moments in the Universal Survival arc overall.
The first Dragon Ball Super film is set to release this December in Japan, and it has justreleased its first trailer. The film will focus on the Saiyans, the "origins of Goku's power," and potentially the story of the very first Super Saiyan. Not only does it aim to be the best film in the series, original creator Akira Toriyama will be contributing to the film's script and character designs.

'Dragon Ball' Gets Some Super Impressive Comic Makeovers

No hay comentarios. :

Dragon Ball Super might have ended its Japanese and English Sub run, but that doesn't mean the effects of that finale have faded. Indeed, sine the Tournament of Power and "Universal Survival Arc" came to a close last month (at the time of writing this), we've seen a substantial uptick in the amount of Dragon Ball fan art that has hit the Interwebs.
In honor of Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War in theaters this week, we have a new gallery of artwork that offers a very special take on Dragon Ball Super that Marvel fans will surely love! The artwork is by "Nesquik28" over at DeviantART, and basically imagines what the characters of Dragon Ball Super would look like, if they existed in the US comic book industry, instead of Akira Toriyama's manga.
Check the lineup of images in the gallery, below:

And finally, the one print that probably wasn't worth the effort - but is nonetheless cool - is this pic of "Uub," the human reincarnate of Majin Buu, who was last seen in that famous final epilogue flash-forward in the Dragon Ball Z finale.

‘DRAGON BALL’ SHARES BETTER LOOK AT ITS NEW SAIYAN IN ACTION

No hay comentarios. :

It may go without saying, but the introduction of new Saiyans is a big deal to Dragon Ball fans. Whether you’re talking anime or manga, audiences are always ready to welcome new Saiyan warriors, and it seems Dragon Ball Legends will tap into that excitement.

After all, the anticipated mobile game will introduce a new Saiyan warrior from the distant past, and fans just got a new look at the guy in action.
Over on Twitter, the official page for Dragon Ball Legends shared a short gameplay video of its new Saiyan fighting. The character, who is appropriately named Shallot, is shown fighting Super Saiyan Goku. The clip was released to thank fans as more than 2.5 million gamers signed up for Dragon Ball Legends’ pre-registration.

Looking at the footage, there is not anything to special to see about Shallot. He moves very similarly to Goku, and Shallot is clearly strong in his base form. There is no telling what kind of power levels this guy might be at, but he appears to be skilled in hand-to-hand combat. Shallot is also seen blasting off some Ki attacks, but he doesn’t have anything as devastating as the Kamehameha. Well, that fans know of, that is.
So far, few details about this new Saiyan have been revealed, but fans know enough to be interested in Shallot. The hero has been described as hot-headed, a phrase that immediately draws parallels with Vegeta. Shallot is almost a warrior out of time as he hails from the past, and Akira Toriyama specifically designed his far-flung look himself.
